Introducing a new AI model by award-winning poet and multidisciplinary artist Ana María Caballero (@anacaballero).
This model is a living extension of a larger project—Being Borges—in which Caballero used Jorge Luis Borges and Margarita Guerrero’s "The Book of Imaginary Beings" to generate images based on the original Spanish text, its English translation, and her own poetic rewritings, unmasking the latent biases ingrained in large data sets.
The model captures the archetypal imagery of Borges and Guerrero’s mythic bestiary, rendered in a vintage, photorealistic style.
