From talking to a few lawyers in the past it seems like the NFT approach is the best as it acts as a membership card. I also know decentralization is a big part of the non-security argument and a lot of groups achieve that through their foundation.

Thanks @andreolf! Just a guy who is learning more about crypto and web3. Personally think wallets are key part of the whole ecosystem and one of the best ways to onboard folks. Also think they could play a huge part in data privacy and changing marketing in general.
