As part of this reorientation, we also revisited our team structures. We'll be doubling down on some areas and reducing our efforts in others. This resulted in us deciding to part ways with some EFers whose skillsets no longer matched our priorities.

It was a difficult decision to let them go, and one we did not take lightly. We are deeply thankful for their contributions over the years and are confident they will find other opportunities to impact Ethereum's trajectory across our ecosystem.

How should we refer to this? “Protocol wants to scale L1” “The Protocol group wants to scale L1” “The EF Protocol group wants to scale L1” Since it has 3 teams it is a group/divudion/program…?

What kind of additional app focus would you like to see Rn app devs want more throughput and faster speeds So i think it's an upstream boon

They already have them on L2s: cheap, almost instant txs. Ok improving the stack, but it’s time to start focusing on the real use cases to get adoption. And there’s plenty to explore (DeFi, DePIN, AI, …) - which is where other ecosystems are ahead of in terms of experimentation and adoption, and ultimately the thing that will matter the most.

Hmm how do u see the foundation playing a role here? Eg ef has started deploying eth into defi already I think depin is probably a scam As for other foundations, what sort of work do they do to push apps that you would want to see mirrored?
