Upbit’s parent company Dunamu just went into damage-control mode: CEO Oh Kyung-seok publicly apologized for the 44.5B KRW hack and promised full reimbursement for affected users. Good move for trust, but it’s still a sharp reminder of why you never go 100% blind faith on centralized platforms.
