Which is better, 1. Trying to change the system from within it using existing democratic processes. 2. Opting out of the system entirely and building parallel systems within the system. 3. Dismantling the system entirely and starting from scratch? 4. Do nothing and just wait for the system to collapse on it's own.

Regulating stablecoins under the Genius Act is not a win for crypto. It is a win for draconian KYC/AML financial surveillance and will protect Circle/USDC and other big corporate issued stablecoins at the expense of innovation in the stablecoin space. USDC will be the backdoor CBDC. Maybe it is time to create more stablecoins backed by assets other than the dollar.
