At least when the state taxes someone, they are aware of it and might even be ok with "paying their fair share". However, when the state debases the currency through unrestrained money printing, it is robbing people without many of them even realizing it. Most people have no clue how the fiat monetary system works, or how it benefits the ruling class at their expense. The state takes full advantage of that ignorance. I think if people knew the truth they would revolt. Your time, your limited time on this planet, is being stolen from you. When you factor the hidden tax of inflation in with other taxes, a huge portion of your life is spent working for the state. The state does not use much of the value it extracts from you to do anything that actually benefits you. Most of it goes to waste, corruption, and the military industrial complex. We need to opt out of this system en masse, stop using the dollar, and build/use alternative systems and currencies that keep value in our pockets and out of theirs.
