Would love to see open source software projects using bounties on @poidhbot for fixing open issues or adding features. Users of a project could add funds directly to a bounty as a unique way of supporting the project. The user gets to see their donation actually do something, because it is outcome based. Positive feedback like this encourages more donations. Seeing the impact directly is much more of a dopamine hit than randomly sending a dev $5. This may encourage more funding than would otherwise happen in the traditional "beg for donations that may or may not translate to actual improvements in the software".
