It finds your rep and generates an email for you about whatever issue you have. If you live in a state, such as Arizona, New York, Iowa, and many other states, that is trying to pass draconian age verification legislation, take less than 5 mins, use the app, and fire off a message opposing these bills. If a bunch of people do it and the rep isn't already bought and paid for (Meta alone is spending billions to get these bills through), it could help.
