What Texas just did with Delta 8, taking a legal product and making it worse than cocaine legally overnight by decree with no vote, is a great reminder of how quickly the state can make anything it wants a crime arbitrarily.
The only things that should be considered crimes are actions that have victims. Voluntary transactions between consenting adults have no victim, and should not be a crime.
