counterpart to earlier physical work :) //physicals: “untitled”, acrylic on gessoed paper in artists sketchbook this series is incredibly thick with different textures & colors, carvings, scrapes & cuts into the paint — creating an impression of that piece of artwork against its counterpart. my favorite is when the paint adheres to the other page tearing certain areas & leaving certain areas behind. it creates this collage-like texture that is quite thick and beautiful and no two areas are alike.
