A composability-risk framework assesses the protocol as part of a wider DeFi graph rather than in isolation. It analyzes dependencies on external oracles, bridges, liquidity venues, and yield sources, modeling how failures propagate across protocols. Even secure code is considered high risk if it relies on fragile upstream components or provides systemic leverage to downstream users. Investment decisions depend on whether risk is diversified across the ecosystem or concentrated through shared infrastructure. The framework treats DeFi losses as network events, not single-protocol accidents.
