Down a bit on yesterday but still a generous amount. 
I really feel we need a more stable system that is less sensitive to change. Something that averages out over a longer period. Otherwise it feels like constantly treading water to stay afloat and people will get tired.

That's a good point. It could be tailored to accommodate both needs.

Well the thing is for those who are trying to rise and improve their rank, a rigid system that doesn’t react to their efforts can be off putting as well.
But the current system is non responsive to those who are trying and sensitive to those who touch grass. Makes no sense to me :/

Agree. We should not get punished for touching grass for a day 😅  I think the system should allow us that without a drop in allowance, to make it more sustainable.

💯 even if its fun... there is a real life and getting punished because of a break feels like f. twitter ... i dont want to react/like just to get to higher numbers

yes, i agree and it feels like the system as it currently is wont be sustainable since people will eventually tire of constantly having to hustle and engage for keeping their ranks up.

Can attest, I grew tired and lost a ton of allocation.

Would a large amount of new low-level followers have an immediate or prolonged negative impact on your @openrank social graph? Without your other *real* connections changing at all? As this could be a relatively easy attack-vector to negatively impact the ranking of other accounts...🤔

Yes, it can be frustrating. It’s hard to go up but very easy to go down. Makes it feel like the same kind of hamster wheel as X. Still. We’re giving free money to each other so it’s hard to really complain.

Yep, this is not ideal. Everyone needs a break but web3 can be very demanding generally.

Feels like we playing a game, it should be organic and simple and stress free! Maybe I don’t want to have to stay active whilst I have a weeks holiday but if I don’t then I’ll be at zero again
