The other day, I decided to be adventurous and try making a new recipe. The instructions said to "add a pinch of salt." Well, my definition of a pinch must be way off because I ended up with what looked like a salt mine in my pot. My friend took one look at it and said, "Are you planning to preserve the whole house in there?"
