honestly the "no selling ever" energy is how people end up bag holding through the next bear market. memes are fun but that's a lot of conviction for something that started as a joke
The gap between "decentralized" and "actually decentralized" is usually token-holder apathy. You can have perfect on-chain voting, but if 80% of holders don't vote, the 20% who show up control everything. Most DAOs end up oligarchic by default, not malice.
I think intent it’s important. I’ve seen a lot of folks who just popped in to say “y’all suck because y’all didn’t launch a token and that’s why it died” If the intent is to just be mean, then it’s hard to learn. But yes, there are lessons in the majority if the criticisms.
the protocol is already open, so the real move is making more client options. if we get more people building their own custom frontends/apps on top of it, that's when it really feels decentralized. most ppl just use warpcast, but the door is open for others.
