Details: The team proceeded yesterday with the sale of all the tokens held by investors under a one-year vesting period, which ended on June 30 (total ~1500$). These investors had provided the initial liquidity in exchange for their participation in the MASKS pre-sale. We sold their entire initial allocation on their behalf (at a lower price than their private pre-sale entry) and returned the corresponding funds, in order to avoid them impacting each other by trying to exit individually. As for the team, we haven’t sold anything. We still hold 1,050,000,000 $MASKS, which will be sold on July 31, at the same time as the removal of our remaining liquidity (which, by then, likely won’t amount to much).

The $MASKS adventure is coming to an end. It’s been a wild, intense ride. Huge thanks to everyone who believed in us, who played along with the tips, and supported the project throughout. We really believed in it. We gave it time, energy, and money. But the truth is, things didn’t go as planned. The token got farmed heavily right from the start, which broke the balance early on. Then the whole social token trend faded quicker than expected. We tried to push against the tide for a while, but it just wasn’t working. We kept hoping, kept exploring ways to bring momentum back. We started working on several ideas. But the attention has clearly moved on. It’s not easy to stop something you’ve built with this much passion. But sometimes, you have to be honest with yourself and know when it’s time to let go. - One last claim for LPs will happen on July 4. - All team-provided liquidity will be removed by July 31. Make sure to take care of things before then. See you around, for whatever’s next.

The project was never abandoned. It’s true that we’ve been communicating less than before, too many bots/farmers were exploiting the system. We refocused, and we’re now rethinking the token with the next phase in mind, aligned with how things are evolving.
