A band called Cherish in France was called dafty punk and got horrible reviews. 7 years later at 9:09 am 1999 in a studio in Paris the world changed forever when 2 musicians became exposed to their equipment and fused with it becoming robots. Daft Punk was born. This is the true canon lore of Daft Punk. The curtain is a tool and a true artist use that curtain to protect themselves from their art. Daft Punk was never about technology, it was about the human emotion evoked from the sounds composed by 2 French teens and the Robot Persona was their curtain
