With regard to the discussion of the weekend here - if we change ‘airdrop’ in previous conversations to ‘token reward’ (or whatever), I think a lot of peoples’ opinions shift into a much chiller shape. ‘Airdrop’ does not connote ‘user acquisition expensive’ - it colloquially implies ‘community formation event’, which is a very very different thing that user acquisition. Which is why there was much vigor around the topic. Teams/builders and users/traders were saying same word to mean different things

It’s a great point I didn’t even think about until I read this this morning Quests is much more accurate, although I will say I never do quests unless it’s a video game or with my son in the backyard lmao

Good take. Airdrop is more like a lootbox that _could_ change your life $5 planned rewards is not an airdrop
