My wife comes home from work and tells me what happened to a relative of her coworker. So there's this couple that goes on a summer vacation to France and they take their little dog with them. It's a heat wave in Paris, so while they're walking around the city, they decide to go to a mall to cool down a bit. The AC is in full mode in the mall which might be pleasant for humans, but turns out deadly for the dog. The little fella suffers a fatal stroke. The couple is devastated. The staff at a nearby luxury store helps them get a shopping bag and a box (which previously held an expensive purse) in which they put the dog. As they walk outside, someone passes by at full speed on an electric scooter and snatches the shopping bag from them.
