No one really talks about the in-between moments. The days when: - You're not sad, but you're not okay - You're functioning, but not fully present - You're surrounded by people, but feel alone (me often, in class) - You’re showing up, but barely holding it together --- A breakdown isn't always sudden. Sometimes, it's the slow burn of holding everything in. Of not wanting to bother anyone. Of telling yourself “I’ll be fine,” over and over again. But please, check in with yourself. Talk to someone. Pause if you need to. Rest isn’t weakness.
