We are on well water, so no chlorine, but as I drive around the area I’ve noticed that all the hydrangeas an are smaller this year. May have to do with the weather earlier in the spring

Per chance do you use dechlorinated water?

City water messes with the microbiome of the soil. It’s fairly simple to degas the chlorine, and you’d get more beauty out of the flowers!
