gauging the farcaster audience... can someone, anyone give me the TLDR on the latest Huda / Love Island drama? haven't been watching but am seeing references to it EVERYWHERE and i feel out of the loooop

Can’t believe I know this but it comes with working in social and being always online (tried to leave Love Island back in the UK but it blew up here) Viewers voted for her bf to be paired up with someone new, so she was at risk of elimination and barely avoided going home He didn’t check in on her after (assuming cause he has a new gf?) and she blew up, now they keep overhearing each other’s conversations where they privately discuss the issue and it doesn’t help Finally talked 1 on 1 at the end of the latest episode, also went terribly, now she’s the only single woman left and still at risk of being sent home This is the gist I’ve gotten from my pop culture list, likely not 100% accurate but it’s just so viral atm I can’t escape it

were they actually bf and gf? like agreed to be exclusive before the show? or i guess during the show? but isn't it only like 10 days into the show?

no they got together on the show on like day 1 but there is not a such thing as really being exclusive on there imo, at least this early the main problem is misaligned expectations between her and how the show actually functions which is that everyone is going to be seeing multiple ppl throughout the show. leads to her crashing out because she expects her and jeremiah to just lock it in and stay that way

Nah, love island is always a bunch of strangers who meet there They were closed off (she took it to a whole other level) and the audience voted for him to be “recoupled” with a new woman joining the show Basically she went against the spirit of the show (dating around and drama) and made it clear that he was her man
