yes! this! if you study sports betting pre-2018, the UX was optimized for insiders (math-heavy, weird acronyms, no standardization) post-2018, the UX shifted to serve *everyone* which helped supercharge adoption (in addition to legalization) esp for younger, mobile-first users same could happen with onchain content

hmm, I think legalization post repeal of PASPA in 2018 was responsible for most of the growth also DFS carve out in 2006 UIGEA took some time for people to exploit pre-2018 https://www.espn.com/chalk/story/_/id/13993288/daily-fantasy-investigating-where-fantasy-carve-daily-fantasy-sports-actually-came-congress

thing is, crypto brain drain is real any great product thinker and maker will leave unless they are also founders or have substantial equity i spent 3 years in the industry with only seeing marginal changes to ux – honestly the people that can push me professionally are not here the ux innovation to crypto will come from outside crypto

Sports Betting: • More tools to use the data • More users bc of the tools • More Usage = More Value The data becomes more valuable the more it gets used. The easiest way to get more people using the data is to build more tools.
