imo Abbot Kinney has the best lineup of fragrance stores. in order of north to south: Strange Invisible: artisanal, botanical, bewitching Le Labo: minimalist luxury, cult-favorite D.S. & DURGA: story-driven fragrances as if they bottled up oddly specific memories (my fav, look at the flowers!!) Aesop: cerebral, clean like an extension of skincare
