Bluesky has a far too insular/crybully reputation. Has largely prevented me from even exploring it.

don’t love adobe’s subscription model vs. ownership, not sure anyone does. feels childish though, if you actually believed in Bluesky the network you wouldn’t be chasing folks away but I guess it’s cathartic

I love adobe (biased for several reasons) but brands don’t have feelings + they are invasive species in human interactions

Not surprised. Bsky is the cringe content nucleus of the internet. If you were too soft for Reddit and too leftist for X, you end up there.

They vacuum up any and all innovative companies in the space (alongside autodesk) letting their products to stagnate and still dominate. Their price jumps are astronomical. Can’t say I feel bad for them

Adobe deserves it at this point tbh. They have handled customer experience very poorly for years.

So interesting—I’m not on bluesky so I only know what I’ve heard from others — but you’d think folks who ran from Twitter because of this type of behavior wouldn’t repeat it.

sad that they were bullied. I haven’t been a fan since they went to a subscription model. I’ll note that I still use my adobe (and microsoft office) perpetual licenses

It feels like a bad look for blue sky, but it also seems like that might be the whole reason why adobe is doing it in the first place. That would be super lame on Adobe’s part. Adobe has fairly good social media content at least when I actually come across it. So it disappoints me that they don’t double down and simply post more useful content from creators who use their products. It feels easy for Adobe to lock in wins with the creator community. They should focus on that over replies & sentiment.
