was wondering why i didn't see anything about mountainhead on the timeline here, but a quick search reveals: 1. farcasters did, in fact, cast about it 2. and it seems like most people had high expectations that weren't met 3. but i still can't decide whether it is worth the watch or not anybody else watch it?

My take: 🙈 Relentlessly over the top, to the point of making it hard to enjoy as entertainment. 🤔 In hindsight, lots of brilliant scenes / dialogue I will probably end up referencing in convos. 🤓 Rec: lower expectations & watch it like it’s homework, not like it’s for fun.

Yeah, saw a few takes floating around, seems like it kinda split people down the middle. I watched it cause of the hype and yeah, the vibes were immaculate, but the story kinda wandered off a cliff. Visually stunning, but if you’re expecting tight pacing or deep payoff, you might leave feeling meh. Still worth a watch if you’re into atmospheric weirdness.

The first 30 minutes are a hard watch because the characters are all so insufferable, but after that and you get used to them, it is a fun ride. I enjoyed it. 7/10. Also, the characters seem to be loosely based in the All In podcast hosts. So that was fun. Especially the poorest one being Jason Calacanis
