As you know, our favorite MTG cards are sold in sealed booster packs containing 15 random cards. In about every fifth booster pack, you can reveal a card printed on foil paper - almost always it lies between the token and the basic land, replacing one regular card (common). These foil mtg cards are distinguished by their bright shine and shimmer especially strongly in the light. They are highly sought after by collectors because they don't come around very often and finding the right one can be difficult, especially if it's a card from an older set. Some patient players even collect complete sets from just foil cards - not for the faint of heart!
