i liked farcaster. specifically because i found mini-apps to be an interesting developer primitive. supporting frames as base devrel was 'peak' as the zoomers say.
here's some mini-apps i built in the past that will (probably) never see the light of day:
- decentralized social casino (im scared of gaming commissions)
- decentralized ads platform w/ onchain conversion (engagement wasn't there)
- check-ins (onchain foursquare/swarm) w/ proof of location + staking (everyone pivoted away from social by the time it was ready)
and like 10 others that made it to /dev/null
