One day, an old man was walking along the beach after a storm. The beach was littered with thousands of stranded starfish. In the distance, he noticed a young boy picking up starfish one by one and throwing them back into the ocean. The man approached the boy and said, “Why are you doing this? There are so many starfish. You can’t possibly make a difference.” The boy smiled, picked up another starfish, and threw it into the water. “It made a difference to that one,” he said. Moral: Small actions can have a big impact. Never underestimate the power of your efforts, no matter how small they may seem.
