Drosera Daily #34
The Same Transaction Twice? That’s an Attack.
Transaction cloning isn’t about fake txs.
It’s about replaying real ones.
Attackers copy valid transactions and run them again to trigger repeated execution, drain funds, or break ordering especially on rollups, bridges, and L2s.
Most systems miss it because the transaction looks legitimate.
Drosera doesn’t.
It tracks transactions across chains, detects reused signatures, flags abnormal nonce behavior, catches cross-chain replays, and spots suspicious timing and sequencer manipulation.
Even if attackers tweak calldata, Drosera compares structure and execution effects to expose the clone.
One transaction should execute once.
If it runs twice, Drosera stops it.
