would be careful with CRCL after its epic run from $39 at IPO to ~$300. current valuation within spitting distance of COIN is outlandish given CB gets ~half circle’s revenue. either that or COIN is wildly undervalued. suspect we’ll see CRCL in the double digits sometime in 2026. until then, let’s hope markets continue to be irrational.

fair point, i’d take the side that COIN is undervalued here the stablecoin adoption curve is just going to do a J curve now from the looks of it

I think COIN has lots of room to run soon, so could understand a CRCL bull case on that premise. personally I’d be buying COIN here though because the CRCL ratio just looks ridiculous on paper 😂 the one thing CRCL really has going for it though is that it’s basically the only way to get stablecoin exposure. that’s powerful. overall would bet on the next two quarters tending towards bullish and irrational, so probably best to ignore P/E ratios for awhile.

yeah, most likely does COIN get CRCL’s revenue in perpetuity? how is the deal structured? i had assumed they shared revenue when coinbase was the channel

current contract is in place until 2029 I believe, but this may change in the future. seems natural that they might negotiate a better set of terms with e.g. robinhood
