BASE Airdrop & KYC/Sybil Resistance Update 👀 Base is testing a new way to make airdrop distribution more resistant to Sybil farming For now, you can check Base Verify here: 🔗https://verify.base.dev The idea is pretty simple: > Verify a real account through Coinbase, X, Instagram or TikTok > Get a unique identityHash > The smart contract checks that identity onchain > If the same identity tries to claim again from another wallet, the claim can be rejected So basically, one real identity could be counted as one person, even if they control multiple wallets This could make future $BASE airdrop farming much harder for people using hundreds or thousands of wallets🪂 Important: This does NOT confirm that a $BASE airdrop is happening or that these checks are the final eligibility criteria Anyone already trying the verification? 👀
