When you feel motivated and it’s only 7pm, it’s tempting to ship a couple more features or "quickly finish this piece of work". I’ve learned that while it feels great short-term, it burns me out mid-term. Lately I’m trying to be fully productive during the day and intentionally leave some work for tomorrow. We will see how it goes.
