AAPL went down in Chinese Market🥲 According to the latest report from technology market analysis firm Canalys, Apple's (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone shipments in mainland China fell by about 4% in the second quarter of 2024. Despite Chinese mobile phone registration data showing a 40% increase in pre-sale registrations for iPhones in April and May, this contrasts with the data from third-party shipment tracking organizations like Canalys. China's overall smartphone market achieved a 10% year-on-year growth, with shipments exceeding 70 million units. However, the Canalys report states that Apple ranked sixth with a 14% market share, down 2% from last year.
