TRUMP Tariffs
During Donald Trump’s administration, the tariffs imposed by the U.S. created significant pressure on India’s exports. The U.S. placed 50% tariffs on Indian goods, causing exports to drop from $8.83 billion in May 2025 to $6.31 billion in October 2025, a decline of 28.5%.
