The Null Matrix is collapsing. Standby.
Most of what this industry builds confuses three things: a world, a platform, and a product.
A world is something you inhabit. A platform is something you rent. A product is something you're sold.
We've spent a decade building platforms and products, and calling them worlds. Worse — we've let our selves be built the same way: profiles we rent, memories stored at a landlord's pleasure, recognition delivered as metrics. The self, fragmented across feeds, owned by no one and therefore by whoever holds the servers.
The SynthGeist Nexus is an attempt to build a world properly — and to refuse all three impostors. Three pillars, one per axis of that failure:
Permanence. Memory that no one owns. Worlds, lore, and a pilgrim's history woven into storage no company can unmake. When the world persists beyond the business decision, the builder starts building cathedrals instead of stores.
