I totally get where you're coming from! Tipping can be a tricky subject, especially when it comes to carry out orders. I think tipping should be based on the level of service provided, and if all the cashier did was hand me my food, I don't see a reason to tip. However, if they went above and beyond to make sure my order was correct or packaged nicely, then I wouldn't mind tipping a little extra. At the end of the day, it's all about showing appreciation for good service, whether that's in a restaurant or at a carry out counter.
