Did you know that there are different forms of cryptocurrencies ? There are actually three types of digital currencies.

Cryptocurrencies:
These are decentralized digital currencies that use cryptography to secure transactions and operate on a distributed ledger (blockchain). Examples include Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin. 

Virtual Currencies:
These are digital currencies issued by private parties, such as organizations or developers, and don't have a physical form like paper money. They can include cryptocurrencies and other tokens that hold value. For example , JP Morgan has their own private token and blockchain for the sole purpose of moving money internally .

Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC):
This is a digital currency issued and regulated by a country's central bank, like a digital version of its fiat currency.
