Yep. i would say given the time / distance you want to invest in a vest. My running coach advised against holding a bottle when running as it tenses the arms and shoulders resulting in poor running form / technique
How much [insert energy drink] to you chug?
Lots of factors to take into account. 1. Is it race conditions and do they provide water stations? 2. How hot / humid is it? 3. How long am I running for? If it’s greater then 90 min then yes I would carry water
