Do you know?
The name of Pedro Flores became a turning point in the history of yoyo toys. In 1920, he brought the Filipino wo-wo to America, which has changed a lot over the past centuries (the toy was carved from a single piece of wood, the rope was not tied to the axis, but fixed with a loop around it, which allowed them to rotate). Then the first factory for the production of the device appeared, located in the city of Santa Barbara in the USA. Even then, yo-yo was a great success with the Americans. The factory produced about 300 thousand yoyos daily.
