Chance on Egg Price Rise This
Month
The prediction market asks if U.S. egg prices in
the Consumer Price Index will rise even slightly
month-over-month. as reported bv the Bureau of
Labor Statistics in April. Yes shares trade at 61
cents versus 41 cents for no, backed by just $26
in volume but $4,300 in interest and plenty of
jokes about longing eggs at 250x leverage. Eggs
tumbled 34% year-over-year into early 2026 after
avian flu spikes, but wholesale prices climbed
$0.37 to $0.74 per dozen last week. with the spot
price up 64% monthly to $1.18 on March 13-
hinting at the rebound traders expect.
