gm everyone 👋 After a lot of thought, Surge is shutting down. On April 4th, we're turning off all servers and revoking all signers. If you have unclaimed earnings, please claim them before that date – after April 4th, claiming will no longer be possible. The honest truth: revenue hasn't covered even 50% of our server costs. We gave it a real shot, but the math stopped working and I'd rather shut down cleanly than let things slowly degrade. Building Surge was an incredible ride. From the architecture to the launch mechanics to watching real people use what we built – every part of it taught me something. To everyone who used Surge, gave feedback, reported bugs, or simply believed in what we were trying to do – thank you. You made it worth building. This isn't goodbye from me, just from Surge.
