IMO the “er” in “Farcaster” makes it sound like a better client name than the “er”-less “Warpcast”. In the most recent MoZ episode, their proposed sports-focused client was even called “Sportscaster”. So I wonder what the thought process behind the names was.

To be honest, I think Warpcast will probably join Mastodon, Minds, Threads, and Misskey in the evergrowing list of TwiX alternatives that I have accounts for but never use, but you never know.
