Honestly, eventually life got busier, especially once kids entered the picture 

We still shut it off from time to time, and reckon once kids are out of the house, maybe we’ll revisit the practice.

We used to do no electricity after dark on Fridays when we were first married.  Great way to decompress from the week and be present.

Come for the little treats, stay for the community

We have a couple Ryobi jobsite fans. A 6Ah battery will run one for 8+ hours — just enough for a nights sleep

If you have some spare computer fans, a power bank, and a spare usb cable (one you dont mind cutting) you can cut the end off of a usb and tie into the fan power cables, plug the usb into the power bank and have some breeze for a little while.
