My interest has always been low-cost travel, which has led to some amazing experiences. I learned that wise, economical travel can be enlightening during a solo tour throughout Europe. I stayed in a hostel in Montmartre, made friends with other tourists, savored the local boulangeries, and took advantage of free tours and walks to discover Paris. A free jazz concert in a park was one of the highlights.
