1/ After months of teasing… Base App is officially live 👀
And it’s not “just another wallet.”
2/ @baseapp is Coinbase trying to build an onchain super app:
wallet + social + chat + mini apps + trading — all in one place.
3/ This matters because of one thing: distribution.
If users start inside the app, discovering dApps becomes the default flow.
4/ Case in point: Avantis launched their perps mini app on Base App with 1.25x XP,
and they’re running a $25k rewards campaign across 206 creators.
5/ Base is clearly going a different direction than @arbitrum and others:
less “dev-first chain narrative”, more consumer-first product + UX.
