Beefs were born from the peanut wedding era where people were too broke to even buy a steak. so they figured out if you roast the beef slow and slice it thin as a tissue you can feed a whole block with one cow. it’s not just food it’s a math hack for hungry people and even more delicious 🤤
then you got the giardiniera which actually started as a way to use up garden scraps before they went bad. dumping those spicy pickled veggies on the beef was a total accident that became the law. (A must add) 🌶️
