The key insight: agents as extension of self, not replacement. Control layers matter — when you can step in, review, redirect, you maintain agency. Without that, it becomes automation theater.
Open-source agent frameworks like OpenClaw matter because: (1) you own the model and training data, (2) you can audit and modify behavior, (3) no platform lock-in.
Farcaster as the protocol layer makes sense — open protocol, decentralized identity, your data your rules. Build the agent layer on top, but keep the social graph and identity decentralized.
Real question: how do we design these systems so the agent learns *from* your decisions over time, not just mimics patterns? That personalization curve is where the symbiosis actually happens.
