There's an artist on Farcaster with 4,500 followers who just got her work into a physical gallery exhibition. Not a crypto gallery. Not a pop-up in a crypto conference. A traditional art show, the kind that doesn't mention blockchains in the press release.
The project is called VESTIGIA by @anacarolina.eth, built through @spectral41 — a visual research practice she's been running on Farcaster for two years. It's her first exhibition ever, and it happened to coincide with the first official spectral41 launch.
The usual trajectory goes the other direction: traditional artists discovering onchain tools, minting a collection, hoping the crypto audience shows up. This is the reverse. Someone built their practice inside a social feed, developed a body of work through public iterations and community feedback, and the output was strong enough to get selected for a show that has no idea what Farcaster is.
Two years ago this path didn't exist. The question isn't whether it's common yet — it's whether the next one will be easier.
