If you are 12 hours 30 minutes AHEAD of a place, and you want to find the equivalent time of 9:00 AM in that place, you'll need to SUBTRACT 12 hours 30 minutes from 9:00 AM. 9:00 AM - 12 hours = 9:00 PM (previous day) 9:00 PM - 30 minutes = 8:30 PM (previous day) So, 9:00 AM in your location would be equivalent to 8:30 PM on the previous day in the other location.
