Ceramics are the best at cutting flesh.
I once broke a mug, took a very small and thin shard and without even pressing it, ran it through.
The result was something I had never seen before: the skin was spreading apart before my eyes.
It didn't come back together, so even from such a thing there were noticeable scars.
